South Thames College London is a large college of Further and Higher Education. We provide Academic & Vocational courses and English for International Students.
We have worked with international students for over 30 years, and have students from over 100 countries. Our UK students are also cosmopolitan, so we have students from many cultural, social & ethnic groups. Studying at South Thames College gives you useful experience of dealing both with new situations and with people from different backgrounds.
Our University Foundation Programme prepares students from outside the European Union, who do not have an English language background, for UK Higher Education. It improves English skills and academic knowledge in a subject area, and gives you qualifications to enter Higher Education.
We offer courses and qualifications at various levels, from Entry to Higher. At Higher level, we offer Degree, Foundation Degree & HND courses with Kingston University. We also have close links with Roehampton University.
Students like our convenient location, near Wimbledon and the River Thames, just outside London's central areas, with easy access to the city's famous attractions. The area has good public transport, and you can reach the College easily from London's airports.
We are one of the UK's largest and most experienced English language centres. Students take our English courses for a variety of reasons; many students who go on to another course at the College continue to take part-time English with their main academic or vocational course.
