West London College is a British Accreditation Council (BAC) accredited business school, which specialises in the teaching of diploma and degree courses in business administration, computer science, hotel management and tourism. The college has two buildings; one in Oxford Street opposite Selfridges and the other in Manchester Street, just a few minutes walk away. Both buildings are newly refurbished, equipped with the latest technology and within easy walking distance of Bond Street, Marble Arch and Baker Street tube stations. For young people, it is probably one of the most exciting inner-city campus locations in the UK, with easy access to all the cultural, commercial and social facilities of London's West End. West London College offers low-cost diploma and vocational degree courses in conjunction with professional examination bodies and its partner institutions, Heriot-Watt University, Bournemouth University, Greenwich University and the Edinburgh Business School. Students can study for a diploma in one academic year, a higher diploma in two years or a degree in three years. Most diploma courses are accessible with five GCSEs or equivalent and there is a master's degree in Business Administration for graduates. Overseas qualifications are accepted for entry to all courses. The college is very strong on pastoral care and offers hostel accommodation at very reasonable rates and near to the campus in the desirable and fashionable districts of Notting Hill, Queensway and Bayswater. Many of the students are from overseas so the college offers English language tuition if required and expert help with visa applications or extensions. The college has excellent facilities. All the lecture rooms are air conditioned, network-connected and have digital projectors. There are over 100 computer terminals for student use, a subsidised restaurant, extensive library facilities and a free Internet café. Full-time courses start January/February, June/July and September/ October.
